The beauty of the Karavanke, the peak of Veliki Vrh and the stunning Kosuta Ridge are combined in this spectacular day. From the height of approximately 1000m we ascend through beautiful forest before the trails opens out alongwith the views. Open meadows greet us as the Kofce Hut - 1488m sits in the distance dominated by the breathtaking Kosuta Ridge.
Running for 12kms this stunning range sits immediately between Slovenia and Austria. As we ascend onto the ridge the majestic Julian Alps are in the distance surrounding Slovenia's highest mountain - Triglav. As we head on the trail up onto the ridge the view falls below us as the alps of both Slovenia and Austria fall into the distance.
