Dominating the Julian Alps and reigning over it's limestone neighbours, Mt Triglav is the dream of every Slovene Mountaineer. It's rugged three peaked shape standing at 2864m is the highest point in the country, the reason why it's outline has been given pride of place on the Slovenian National Flag.
Translated to Three Heads because of his three peaks - Triglav, Rjavec and Little Triglav, Mt Triglav has the second hardest north face in Europe, a climbing challenge for international alpinists. The route we take leads us below his north wall and up to the highest mountain hut in Slovenia - Kredarica. A christening ceremony is held on the summit for everyone's first time.
