VRSIC PASS |

An historical pass and the heighest in Slovenia at 1611meters. The Vrsic pass has 50 hairpin bends. On the Alpine side as we drive we pass the Russian Chapel and the alpine viewpoint. At the top of the pass we indulge in the magnificent views and take a short walk on the high meadows.
Heading afterwards down the coastal side of the pass and stopping at the botanical gardens and the source of the river Soca. A drive back over the pass and a visit to the alpine village of Kranjska Gora. |
| An easy walking day and a fantastic drive over the Vrsic pass. The walking is in stages at our stop offs and in total is around 2hrs of very easy walking. |
