SKI AREAS IN SLOVENIA

Kranjska Gora

With a real alpine atmosphere is a perfect area and skiing destination for those who will be learning to ski, with families or who now indulge in recreational skiing. All hotels, pensions and villages centre are located within a few minutes walking distance from the lower ski areas. The gentle slopes under the hill of Vitranc are a haven for learning to ski/snowboard - gentle and gradual slopes with the added bonus of a selection of resturants and attractions - ice skating - at the base of the area. Kranjska Gora shares its slopes for one weekend of every year with the world down hill skiers - taking place in the far west corner of the ski area, Podkoren. This also shows the variety on offer not only to those starting out on skis, families and those with good ski legs already.

Lake Bohinj

It is a recreational delight. Having installed a new gondola Vogal is really opening up for some good intermediate skiing on its high snow sure slopes. Combined with neighbouring Kobla, skiing is available until late spring.

Lake Bled

It is a winter retreat for the complete beginner who can ease away their aches and pains after a hard days learning. Relax after downhill or cross-country skiing in one of the many saunas or spa baths. Bled is also an ideal place to be if you wish to participate in our ski safari.
