Kranjska Gora's new lift system gets you up and out on the slopes in no time, the ski area and ski slopes finish in the vilage centre prefect for building confidence and independence in beginners. Parents can enjoy a relaxing drink at the bottom of the slopes whilst watching children practice their techniques on the secure beginners and children's area.

The country offers a range of resorts for more experienced skiiers and snow boarders - Krvavec at over 1500m is located only 15mins from Slovenia's capital city Ljubljana, whilst Vogel in the Bohinj Valley and Triglav National Park situated at over 1500m offers stunning views of the Julian Alps and Triglav. Both the resorts of Krvavec and Vogel offer excellent skiing and snow boarding possibilites. Bordering Italy and Austria, Slovenia is a perfect base offering the possibility to ski or snow board in a neighbouring country. Italy's resorts start a short 20min drive away from Kranjska Gora and some of Austria's prime ski resorts are less then an hour away.
